Valentinoix de La Galissonière

The eldest son out of eight, Valentinoix was groomed to become Lord of the House of Galissonière, unlike his younger brothers and sister. He went through training to become a Knight like his father and them before him, he was given the finest training his father could get while his brothers were afterthoughts, clearly, the eldest was favoured more than the younger ones which caused some friction between the brothers while the sister was away studying the arcane arts. Unlike his younger siblings apart from two, he like them is not married yet and has spent his time going off on expeditions to other lands which are costly but to close the cost of hiring guards he uses the Knights of The Order of Saint Daniffen
He was close to his sister and three of his brothers, thinking of grand dreams and causing trouble in their younger days with Valentinoix been the mastermind behind some of their ventures which got them into trouble yet reality would come for him as he had to stop and start to learn the ways of nobility and act proper, leaving such troublesome ventures. This did not break his close relationship with two of his siblings.
T'was not till during the Dragonsong War did Valentinoix became the head of his house after his father fell in battle along with two other brothers, this does not mean the new Lord did not fight, tis true he took part in some battles which raged. Not only did he rise to become the head of his House, but he also became the Lord Commander of a small order of knights which were founded by the founder of their House.
During the war, he did marry another noblewoman who became jealous and hell-bent on killing his only bastard son and the woman who birthed the bastard. Yet a man who protects his own blood took action against her and quickly threw her out into the streets to find another who will fall to her wicked spells.
If one thing all of his siblings can agree upon is that their eldest brother has become colder and more strict since he became the head of their House but they know he can still be the trouble-maker he once was at times. They can also agree the loss of their father and two brothers hit him hard along with what happened with his ex-wife which is may be why he became colder, spending time away on expeditions and staying in his study for long hours. Truly he changed greatly.

Some may have seen him around Ishgard, going on walks around the city or about to leave the city on another expedition.
The Lord is always ready to go on campaigns if there is a war or just to go and help others if he gets a letter asking for his aid.
He has a keen interest in smithing and the making of weapons and armour. A hobby one could say he has taken up and always ready to meet others who do it for a job to understand better.
Large formal events such as a masquerade ball are likely to draw his attention and will attend without question.
